went over for a bit of a look today, yesterday was there was the main show day but couldn't get there yesterday
wonder why there nationals are so popular you guys are pushing for 100 entries they suposedly had 160 entries and that's not there best numbers
maybe because there's are every 2 years i know they seem to do alot of promo they even had a car dedicated to promo and i know there is a website dedicated to the nationals or maybe just the time of year possably just because FE/FC's in general have been a more popular car for longer
THIS IS IN NO WAY CRITISIZING YOR NATIONALS JUST SOME THINGS TO MAYBE THINK ABOUT
here's some pics
one for mick jagger
and what not to do to yor FC
They do get allot of people go, and from all over Aus as-well.
Many attendees take more than one car to boost the numbers .
Just cause we get 70 to 80 cars at our Nationals it doesn't mean we don't have just as much fun, you should try and find out one year Mick, Trev .

More is not necessarily better, it becomes a logistics nightmare trying to feed the 400 odd people that are associated with 160 cars, as we found out on the Friday night. The next one is Perth in 2012, it'll be interesting to see the numbers for that one.
I agree with Stinky - it will be interesting to see what numbers are like in Perth. 4 day weekends within school holidays also help with numbers.
Catering was really good on the Saturday and Sunday night but the Friday night left a lot to be desired. The the place we went to just couldn't cope with the numbers. Didn't help people with tired and hungry kids who weren't given priority and waited (in some cases) up to 2 hours to get fed. Sound familiar Stinky?
On the whole though it was a very well run weekend.

never meant it as in competition more as curiosity there's a couple of people (and good on them) that are trying to get 100 entries for FB/EK nationals yet without much trouble you get 160
i'de guess that FE/FC's have been a popular car longer than FB/EK's, could be time of year but there's plenty of time to organise time off work etc
what i saw was very well organised like marked out car spaces in show/shine etc
