don't think i ever said it looked stoopid (i may have but can't be bothered going back reading through) i did say out of proportion and also said IT'S NOT MY CAR SO MY OPINION DOESN'T REALLY MATTER and did try to point out that from playing around with these cars for years that unless you do considderable mods to the front guards (which prolly won't look good either) and mods prolly to the subframe aswell if using a HR front end the wheels just won't fit, on the other hand if you get them to fit without doing horrible ugly mods they are only wheels and they unbolt and can be changed in less than an hour if that decission were ever made, there are some things people do to cars that would be serious money and work to change or reverse

this next part is not directed at you just in general, there's quite a few people on here that only want wind blown up there arse's telling them how great there cars look and what a great job they're doing
that's fine but in the real world there's lots of differant opinions, if I say I don't like something that's me I'M not telling anybody to change it, BUT it may be a shonky looking mod and they may step back have another look and think to themselves you know i think he was right, or maybe not but it's there car there decission and gives them something to think about

this is amusing as hell

Especially Big Bird's posts. and i agree with fatboy on the 16" wheels (not directed at Kiid or Soho or whatever).

How many threads have to be closed down before everyone gets sick of this? If we can't handle criticism why customise cars if we're only gonna cop negative feedback and have a big whinge?

If someone doesn't like your car, who cares? Just don't completely butcher a classic unless it starts out looking like a colainder first.
Speaking of which, was I the only one who was disgusted at that Valiant Charger in SM a while back (blue, clear bonnet, huge wheels, interior pretty much replaced by a huge stereo) HOLY S#*T THATS UGLY!

I dont think its particularly clever to slander people on an open forum - having an opinion of their car is fine , freedom of speech and all that . How many people on here were on Ozrodders or Cruizin' when the poo hit the fan ?

That car bought pox to a whole new level , we really do need a vomit emoticon ......
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Have to agree that thing is un-cool... That's taking stuff too far, unfortunatly its all too easy to install big stereos like that ( I'd know, its part of my autoelec trade )

Now un-blocked, Cheers Blacky....

yup even for a dummy like me its a piece of piss to put in a stereo. When i get the chance to do mine properly It'll all be properly hidden though-don't want oxygen thiefs breaking my windows for a pair of speakers

Wheels are on the diff. Its all not mounted properly yet. Need to finish off the new rails after we work out the front... We've just done as much as needed on the back to ensure it will work ( and it will ) for now...

And that lumber & axle stands are keeping the car level is all.. I've not yet added pins into the rotissery to lock it in place..

Will you be useing a split tailshaft?
At that diff level it doesnt look like the floor hump could accomidate a 1 peice tail shaft without raising the hump more
