Nationals 2010 trip plans

Is anyone coming through Yass NSW (Hume Hwy) that can possibly pick me up???
Happy to pay my way, chip in for fuel, accomodation etc.
My missus doesnt want to go, and driving up by myself would just suck, especially when I dont have an old holden on the road atm...

If anyone can help id really appreciate it....

Hey Dave,
I am pretty sure that we are going through Yass........ (can't find the bloody atlas)..... anyway if my memory serves me right we either go through Yass or close enough to do a slight detour (we will be travelling from Adelaide with Thommo mob......... let me know so we can orgy-nise it..... hopefully Pops (from Perth) will be hitching too...... should be a fun trip to say the least

Gaz, Yass is only 280k's from Narrandera, the other side of Adelaide!

Dave, just drive the 280k's in your car (doesn't matter what it is) and join in the fun

Gees Trev, whats another 600km round trip after the 9000km we will be doing

............. just found the road map Trev, could be a little bit of a detour! I shut up now.......obviously my memory ain't working at all

Thanks for the offer Gaz, yeh probably a bit out of your way.
Would love ideally to go up to the nats in a FB or EK and contribute to the whole road trip exprience, but if I cant get a seat, ill travel in my car..

I might be able to help out Dave.

I've got to get that grey motor that I promised you down to your place so may as well wack it in the trailer and take it to your place on the way to the nationals in my FB.

I've got six seat belt positions in my car.

I'll leave the trailer and motor at your place, we'll all head to the Nationals and enjoy the FB/EK weekend and pick the trailer up minus the grey motor on the way back.

Sounds good in theory if that arrangement suits you, let me know.

as it looks like i can keep my beth ( the ute ! ) i best fill in the forms do some work on the ute and get ready to head up...
as i'm thinking i'll sleep in the back of the ute ('cause i love it) and stuff i'm just wondering if theres public showers in the town ? at a servo or caravan park or something ???
at last years nats i was able to drive home at night as it was so close
