where to buy Wheel Cylinders ??

Post by FB60 »

Hello - I'm thinking of replacing my braking system on the FB.

(Other than Rare Spares) does anyone have suggestions on where to source (new?) wheel cylinders?

thanks

Jamie,

Try Burt Brothers at 118 Fairfield Street Fairfield 9681 1188. I recently bought some brake lines there and Frank (clazek) recently got some brake stuff there as well.

Cheers Stewart ...

I just gave them a call for those that are interested.

Here are their prices:

Front Wheel Cylinder - $65 + GST
Rear Wheel Cylinder - $75 + GST
Note- this kit includes cylinder barrel, pistons (alloy), rubber and spring. It does not include the outer adjuster dial.

Re-sleeve your old wheel cylinders in Stainless Steel:
Front - $60 + GST
Rear - $50 + GST

IF you are in Sydney you could try Dr Terry , he has a workshop there somewhere , send him a PM - best to send the work the way of a forum user , at least you know you are dealing with an enthusiast !!
