Thanks for the positive comments guys, It's a hilux diff in the front,I'm using complete hilux steering from diff to steering wheel- the hilux diff itself isn't the strongest but it allows me to set up everything (and make sure it's all going to work!) and when I bust that diff I can go 9 inch(I ...
hi all, I've got some pics of a car I'm building- It's been off the road about ten years now and I'm getting stuck into finishing her off. I've had her since I was 18 and it's kind of turned into grandpa's axe-7 heads and 14 handles but I can't part with it! My brother calls it the anti-christ ...
Hi J, I don't know if it's been mentioned elsewhere on this thread but that was definitley Burnsey's car.He might be a member on here somewhere. We used to always run into each other-we both got our cars on the road at about the same time and both thought we'd picked an uncommon colour for them, as ...
Yeah, sorry J, that cars' only been green since we had it- However there was another car the same colour as ours (panama green) owned by a guy called Burnsey. That's all the info I have on him sorry!
I've finally gotten around to sticking up some pics, this is an old hd we bought and did a really quick throw-together.Being self employed and needing a family driver,we built this in seven days(seven very long days!) Now it's just the bugs to iron out and making it more comfortable to drive with a ...
Sorry Folks,I've been flat out with work and haven't done much on the old girl,I did however do a real quick rebuild on an hd wagon to use as an everyday car.I'll put some pics up in other cars of interest
sweet! thanks for that mate! That's an awesome looking engine.A strange fact though- FB/EK's have 40mm more room from the rear of the radiator support panel to the firewall than a 57 chev? (the chev does have the radiator in front of the support panel though)
Sorry Guys, been off the airwaves a bit with work etc but I've got a few more progress pics. We've changed tack a little bit as now we have an Hd wagon I quickly threw together for a family cruiser.I'll chuck some pics up when I get some more time
It had a rear quarter thrown on it in a previous ...
funny you should say that..... The chev will probably end up in the panelvan! I made my own twin butterfly style injector hat which covers the carby's -makes it look like mechanical injection plus I'll have enough room under the bonnet (almost-I think it will poke through an inch or so)
haha yeh we copped a bit for that paint job!! It was panama green if anyone wants to know.Anybody that wants to have a look feel free to pm me and I'll give you my details. I love my toys!! the cruiser I've had since I was 18 and now it's gonna be a promtional thing ,I specialize in custom ally ...
well maybe a really nice family car!! We were going to do a wagon but when we started stripping it it kind of folded up! I also have an ek panno that will be a 'toy'! I also have a swb fj40 cruizer with an ally body(that's my business) with a 6/71 blown 350 going in it
