Just mocked up mate, so I could get the sway bar link rod length close - waiting on bottom ...

Got the front end pretty much all buttoned up , just waiting on a couple of bits - lower ball joints and brake pads . Painted the steering arms and caliper brackets and finished off the sway bar links.

Traction bars welded out and painted in "Oh My Goodness That's Yellow!".

Need to finish bleeding out the brakes on the FB (for the whopper stopper Mitsi discs) then will fit the traction bars up.

I’llvtry and get a meter on in a couple of spots and see where the surge is coming from - not really my field of strength so might get the guys at dynomotive to chase for me - Ive often wondered why they didnt run an earth cable full length when they ran the positive and just earth the motor ...

The battery is in the back so we are using body as earth path bat to alt - maybe thats causing some issues

Are you blowing all fuses of just certain circuits? Are you running a standard loom with just the three (from memory) fuses?

Just the two going stephen - two on door side - both 15 amp - loom is a new standard loom - we found a few exposed wires which must of been damaged ...

Putting some miles into her - having a little electrical issue with fuses blowing - wires are all good and no short but I’m thinking i might be getting a surge from either the alternator or maggie as its only when you give it some revs they pop - might need a resistor or relay in there - thoughts ...

Done all I am going to do to this for now - replaced some of the Bailey channel to stop some of the rattles , vacuumed all the crap out of the doors while I was at it and gave the door trims a scrub.
