Re: Family Affair Ek Ute
My two cents  I've shortened two Commodore diffs now one for my FC Sedan and one for my EK Ute they are a good diff, have good rear disc brakes and can get LSD however because they are fairly easy to shorten they are becoming dearer.

Re: Neil's FB Station Wagon
Yeah guys I'm going to use a hose joiner but probably need to extend the neck on the tank and direct it towards the hole through the body in the wagon that goes up to the rear quarter.
Cleaned the outside of the tank and gave it a coat of primer

Re: Neil's FB Station Wagon
Pretty happy where this has ended up, went and stitch welded the the tank surround every 2” (advise from Keith
) still need to seam seal but that’s everywhere and have to do the filler neck.
Still a couple of smaller rust repairs to do

Re: Neil's FB Station Wagon
Thanks guys sound advice.
The tank is sound, no holes so I had been thinking of pouring a few letters of fuel in and give it a good swirl around drain it and some CRC if needed after that or maybe visa versa

So my 600g of citric powder seems to have been ok
Before After 5 days, amazing Do I need to coat it? The baffle in the middle of the tank may make that hard.
