Fitting baby seat to EK

Anyone know what is involved in having seat belts installed in the rear and having a baby restraint point on the back parcel shelf?

Cheers!

Re: Generator - siezed!

Cheers - mine is definitely a Bosch. The photo I posted was just one I grabbed online that I thought was similar to mine

So is it worth getting the Bosch reconditioned? Or second hand one from a wreckers?

Generator - siezed!

Was driving the old girl on Friday and noticed that it sounded like the fan belt was slipping slightly. Drove her to Leederville and had dinner. Had a bit of a look and guessed that the bearing in the generator may be on the way out. On the way home, it was dark so had the lights on. Bit more noise ...

Looking to get new stereo

Hi guys

There is the standard one in there at the moment but it is not working at all (tested and wont power up, buttons broken etc).

Have seen a few web sites (like http://www.classiccarstereo.co.uk/) were you can ...

Re: Trouble starting when left for a week or longer

Thanks for all the replies guys - great info to know.

I will keep some fuel handy - now just to teach the wife how to take the air cleaner off and pour the fuel down the carby when she wants to go for a drive!

Trouble starting when left for a week or longer

Hi guys

Our EK (standard 138) has trouble starting if left for over a week. Longer we leave it, the harder it is to start. I hadn't started her for about 3 weeks, and tried yesterday - basically it seems like it isn't getting any fuel. I tried for about tenminutes and it just wouldn't start. I ...

It's in pretty good nick, just had the dramas with the starter motor but took her for a good drive this morning and she starts fine now.

Also (not in the pics) just got custom number plates ...

Re: EK Starter Motor

Pulled the old starter motor out tonight, smells pretty burnt...I'm guessing that is not normal!

Will pull it apart on the weekend and have a good look at it.

Thanks for all your help! Looking forward to get more involved in the forum.

Cheers
