hi guys,
many years ago a couple of guys did a diesel flush on an old gray that was fumey. it stopped the fumes completely
does anyone know how this is done?.
i seem to recall they added about 1-2 liters of diesel, idled it for about 5 mins, then drained, another 1-2 litres of diesel poured in to ...

Hi mate,
Considering the glass is broken, I’d say it’s feasible, but in the long run it’s probably better to remove the frame. In which case you’d be better off Just sourcing the complete assembly. I do have a spare glass if you’re dead seat on the idea.

replacing glass in 1/4 vent

hi guys

how hard is it to replace the glass in a quarter vent window, I was driving along in full air con mode, both at maximum wind flow when a rock off a passing truck smashed the drivers side.

i just read through replacing the whole vent window....im hoping its easier to pry the broken shards ...

got it with the wedge, packing tape and a coat hanger to push the packing tape where i needed it :yeahhh:

Blue packing tape!

Get a piece about a foot long, fold it in half then push it through between the door rubber and the body next to the locking knob.

Then you should be able to make a loop inside the car that will sneak over the locking knob.

Pull it tight around the locking knob and lift it up ...

Wouldn't do it to a show car, but I saw a guy from RACV simply jam a wedge of wood between the door and door frame and use some blue binding strap to grab the lock knob. I think he was an ex crim!

Ive used a straightened out coat hanger pushed through the door rubber to get keys out of the ...

hey guys,

any ideas, i ve .locked the keys in my ek, Its in my backyard so not on the street somewhere

windows up tight

quarter vents are tight...

can the slide piece that holds the (drivers)door lock in place, be slid out while the door is shut? i can see it, its not tight been out to have new ...

I knocked a few dents out of it and bumped the wheel tubs back into shape.
