Assuming the weight is distributed exactly evenly between them, which probably wont be the case depending on the design

Hi guys.

Not holden related but a general question. I've just got a project motorbike and apparently getting some of the gaskets for the thing is going to be a bit of a hassle. What are peoples experiances with making their own gaskets? Is it as simple as popping out the old gasket, tracing the ...

ive had the same problem a few times. I just used thread sealant tape (the really thin teflon tape that plumbers sometime use to make joins water/gas tight) on the plug. Just pull the plug out, put a wrap or two around the threaded section (keeping it off the carby end) and wack it back in

Never been to one before but wondering if they are still on, and if anyone has any more details than whats in the short guide up here, which just says 1st Tuesday of the month and gives an address.

wd40 clean of everything in the carby and shes running even more smoothly than before all the silly buggers began! replaced the fuel filter - is it worth having one on either side of the pump, i've seen it done but i wonder if it's not overkill? cheers again guys

gah. went for a drive today and it worked for a bit then chonked out. same problem. looks like someone is pulling a carby out and manually cleaning out the jet and fuel bowl.
