at local panel shop, cost $75. I also had a tank treatment applied.

Just my thoughts, people never do bare min when putting an injected motor/V8 motor or red motor in their pride, why spend money on making it go that much better and not spend any more money than the bare min on stopping it, we dont have crumple zones or airbags so the next best thing is avoiding the ...

Aiden, i understand that a drum rear end is "enough", BUT is it enough for you, your family and the family commin' towards you.. just consider this. For a few extra $$'s and some work make your project better than the bare min' ... just a thought :) go 4 wheel disc brake

Am really happy with the outcome :D :D it spent a week in the Acid Dip prior to the Tank Treatment being applied. the treatment has now sealed both sides of the upper part of the tank hence no moisture = no rust

I does look good, the panel shop guys suggested that IF i wanted to paint it thats how :D , i agree with you and am leaving it as is plus you wont see it anyway. The bottom isnt painted and wont be painted is as im keeping the van "as is" with its 48yo paint sceem.
