Well ime out............was going to be my first NATS and only a 3 hr drive away but ive quit my job in Gladstone and am off to Darwin for a few years :evil: .Oh well, such is life :roll: ,OL Blue is now safely tucked away at my oldies house until i come home :( .

Got my kit last night and going through the instructions i see the vac line plumbed to the manifold.
How have you guys with Brake boosters set up both?.
Can you post some pics please.

Thanks mate, was speaking to a guy the other day about it, he thinks it could be the spline on the damper plate being stripped.

Thanks Harv, will hopefully get to have a look over the next few weeks, just glad it happened close to home.
Are the filters hard to get to?
I have usually just kept the fluid up to it as it only gets driven approx once a month on short trips.
I dont like my chances of getting it rebuilt in the town ...

Dudes,
Got within 150m of home last night and the car lost Drive and started making a whirrrrrrring sound. I pulled over and turned it off.
The hydra gear box locks the wheels when in Park like it should but in all other gears it free wheels like it is in Neutral.

not really worried about cool factor,just after a bit more response, it has a larger exhaust and extractors.

and if so how did you go,any dramas i should be aware of?
