Hey Cliff,
Absolute cracking ute mate, not many of the Perth built ones around anymore especially the commercials. Looking forward to catching up. Just watch out for the FB / EK crew though. They invite you along and then drive just fast enough that you just can't quite keep up. Though I reckon I ...

Re: Club Run June 27
Sounds good mate, Probably early September is better as opposed late September in school holidays, it gets a bit nuts over school holidays here. I've signed up with the Busso vintage car club and they're happy for us to utilise there meeting room if required. Well, they were before it all got locked ...

Re: CRANKSTERS HOT SUMMER NIGHTS
No worries, sounds good.
The Chev just pulled a hammy at the pre-game day training run but the FC made it through so is all set to go.
Look forward to catching up tomorrow.
A club run down our way would be awesome.

Re: CRANKSTERS HOT SUMMER NIGHTS
Hey Paul,
Have you got room for me and my brother to tag along? We've just hatched a last minute plan over a couple of beers to come up from Margaret River. We've been wanting to go now for a few years but finally getting our shit together.
Unfortunately we may cramp the FB / EK style a bit. I'll ...

Thanks Greg, Blacky
Yep, I wasn't expecting it to be cheap but didn't realise that it would take such a long time. I agree though, the chrome does make the cars. I'm thinking that the expense will potentially offset the value added to the car. Well maybe that's what I can tell the mrs anyway. I'll ...

Re: One for the brains trust
Hi Rob,
Thanks so much for that, makes perfect sense.
I always thought the cement was for the body roll but the braking theory makes more sense, my first car was a FJ holden ute. I don't know how many times old blokes would tell me to put a bag of cement in the back.

Hi All,
I've got too much shit.
I fear that I've overtaken EK-mart.
I have a WA built FB body and a WA built early number EK auto body with rust pretty much in all normal spots.
Sand blasted and exposed naked with nothing really to hide. Not too stressed as will be donar's to my current ...

Hi All,
Can anyone recommend a chroming dude in WA? Not one that will sniff my paint down some seedy ally but one that can make my 60 year old bits shiny again.
Is it worth the full 3 stage re-chrome expense, pro's con's.....?????

Hi All,
My FC runs a grey 132, with 1&1/16 inch brake slaves on the rear. My Ek & FB each run a grey 138 with 1 inch rear brake slaves. All have 1&3/16 on the front.
Wouldn't the bigger motor run bigger brake cylinders not smaller? Just one of those quirky moments where I'm ordering parts ...

WA Personal Plates Rego Query
Hi All,
Just got a quick query, well two actually
Those WA personalised plates, the old blue ones with black writing.
Can you sell them seperate to the car?
How does that work, does the licencing centre hang on to them until they are sold and ready to go on a vehicle?
The plates are currently ...

Re: cruize down south
Hi All,
If you're still keen for a cruise south, the Margaret River Speedway is on next weekend - Feb 25th. The modified sedans & production sedans are the main feature event. The details are on their facebook web page.
