Hi there! I have recently moved to Bentleigh Melbourne and am looking for a mechanic who loves FBs. I am soooo over my car being given to the apprentice to play with!! Also I am wondering if someone could let me know whats the best option for upgrading my wipers? Thanks!

Welcom PV man wipers are an easy upgrade. Get EK ones. Electric motor not vacuum one.

Good mechanic, not sure around your area.
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

Hi pvanman thats 3 of us in bentleigh now ,welcome. As far as mechanics go I use the midas @the corner of warrigul and centre road Jimmy and George have always been honest and very helpful ,If youre after a auto elec you cant go past geoff at bentleigh auto electrical corner of jasper and centre again he has always been good to us.

I think James (Jimmy jazz) went to the guys on north rd near the railway crossing to get his rwc dont know what their like Im sure he can fill you in anyway .

hope to see you around ..deryck

Hi PV,

Id definitely give mike nolan motors (on north road) a miss - I got a rwc from the place with a non-existent hand brake! - not a good sign. Your bus doesn't happen to be grey does it? Saw one parked on centre road a while back, very neat looking machine. Cant really suggest anything in the way of mechanics as I haven't had anything major done yet.

Cheers,
James

That's the sort of place you want to do a rwc check

If most older cars had a full rwc test done (properly, to the letter), I'd be surprised if many passed
