May Club Run
Sunday 31st
Poker Run
Meeting point: 8.45am for a 9.30am departure Mt. Gravatt/ Palmdale Shopping Centre Car park.
Travel out from Mt Gravatt along Logan Rd. and onto the M1 heading to the Gold Coast.
1st Stop: Pimpama Strawberry Farm
Take the Strawberry Farm exit. 1st cards will be handed out.
2nd Stop: Hope Is. Shopping Centre
Take the Sanctuary Cove exit off the M1 and follow Oxenford/Southport Road to the Hope Island Shopping Centre on Santa Barbara Road. 2nd Card will be handed out.
3rd Stop: Sovereign Island
Travel back out along Oxenford/Southport Road and then onto Broadwater Rd. towards Paradise Pt. Take a left at Mathew Flinders Dve. And left at the round-a-bout onto Paradise Pde. Right into Donald Ave. and onto The Sovereign Mile. Follow this until King Charles Dve. And onto Parklane Tce. 3rd card will be handed out.
4th Stop: The Spit car park
Travel back out the way we came in and turn Left onto The Esplanade. Follow this through the round-a-bout onto Bayview St. Left into Marine Pde. And follow to Gold Coast Hwy. Follow this to Sundale bridge Turn Left after the bridge and follow to Sea World Drive. Follow all the way to end.4th Card will be handed out.
5th Stop: Cascades Gardens Broadbeach
Head out of car park along Gold Coast Hwy towards Surfers. After Surfers we will turn Left into Armrick Ave. and Right into Surf Pde and Right into St Kilda Ave. Turn Right at the lights onto Gold Coast Hwy and Left into Cascades. This is where the last Card will be handed out. There will be a Sausage Sizzle supplied for all Players.
Entry: $10 per hand
Best hand: 60% of Entry fees
Worst Hand: $20
Remember to Bring: Hats, Sunscreen, Chairs, Water, Swimmers, Full tank of FUEL, Camera, Sense of humour and MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL! YOUR POKER FACE!!!!!
I've had to change the 4th stop to The Spit Car Park

Didn't know it was closed! What are they doing? It is more of a guide to where we will stop to deal out the cards. Are we going to see you and ya wagon at cascades or join us for the run?

Yeah mate its not there all shut off for development and so on. More parklands maybe??
Dunno if ill bring the wagon out depends on how much shit ill cop for having a hr haha

Last month apart from FBs and EKs we had an EJ, a HR wagon, a comadore, a Pontiac and a Late maodel ford ute its very casual and a great bunch of people (except for Richard)  come along mate

I'll be driving the wagon tried to talk Lisa into driving it so I could take the FB but she is scared of the brakes (Unboosted HR drums)

hey trippples im tryin to get bon to take the ute to bendigo ,,,, she still wont cause its to loud , i even offerd my ear plugs,,,,,must be a camry driver thing mate
how ya been bud anyway im back on line now,,,,will give yu a yell and catch up,, are you off to bendigo????????? were due for a drink mate,,,,if not im up in july and sep will come hang out and sleep in ya wagon when im drunk enough

I'm in for Sunday's run..
Will just be me and the kids...
I just hope the rain stays away so the poker run doesnt turn into 52 card pick up..
Next time your up Karsten, we should try and wrangle a Goodna pub visit in.  Its been a while.
