trans selector swap

i just brought a vk efi motor n trans to slip into my ek
has anyone ever swapped the selector from the left side of the commy trans to the right on the trans? can it be done ?
just want to leave the orig column auto in there

the bloke that's helping me with my engine swap has set up a cable on the colum of a couple of cars to run a left side shift

wouldn't have pics, but basically it's the b@m type shifter cable with brackets made at the collum end to fit it to and then the brackets you can buy at the gearbox end it looks reasonably simple
also the picture of the ek in yor avitar is that yellow like mark minifc's fb wagon or honey beige like steve jacksons collection or something else

yeh its like a honey beige
the orig colour is ment to be yellow with a white roof
ill respray it to those colours one day
