Wanted: snapring pliers

Post by Harv »

This may be a long-shot, but one can only try. I have a full set of Hydramatic service tools... all but one. I'm hunting for a set of snap ring pliers, stamped either HM8873 or Litchfield E0125.

Do I really need them? No.
Can I do the job with a set of SuperCheap pliers? Yes.
Is it bugging me that the tool set is missing one? Hell yes.

Happy to pay good money, or swap for other service tools. Will try my luck with some of the Aussie hand tools societies separately.

Cheers,
Harv

I have a set of snapring pliers which look identical to those in your photo, however they are branded "Waldes Truarc plier No.21" . they are 135mm long. If they are any good too you they are yours. Cheers, Fraze

Thanks for the offer Fraze. I've got a similar pair here (Salter Truarc No. 2), though am hoping to lay my hands on a genuine pair.
