Fitting bonnet lacing

Post by steved57 »

Hi all

Can anyone tell me please (by racing outside in the middle of winter & checking under the bonnet of your EK) what secures the bonnet rubber lacing to the plenum chamber cover? It sort'a looks like the lacing would be screwed to the cover with self tappers, except the holes in my car's plenum cover don't look like they've ever had screws in them. Is there a clip or some such thing that's used? Any & all responses greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.
