Removing front rubber brake lines

Post by paperboy »

Can anyone help me on how do I remove the rubber front brake lines, it seems to be locked in with a large u shaped metal clip. I've got a broken hose and I'm replacing the brake cylinders.
Thank you in advance, I've bought a workshop manual but haven't received it yet.
Cheers
Geoff

Yes, its a spring clip.
Grab the pokey out flat bit with a vice grip and pull down.

Wiggle it a bit as you go.

Be sure to undo the hardline first.
