Newby FB/EK Ute

Hi All

Just like to share my project with you

EK ute with FB subframe. It is in fairly good condition with new brakes disc brake front end and reco engine but needs work on the floor sections

Started some repairs

Cleaned up the motor & added some carbies

As it is a Bitza I won't be going original with paint & wheels and would like to replace the existing EK plenum grill with an FB if anyone has one for sale or swap

Will keep you updated with my progress

Thanks for the comments. Have done a couple of bikes in the past but this is my first attempt on a car.

Just an update on my progress over Christmas

Floor now all finished and ready to rolled back over

Found a Christams present under the dash but all good now

Next stop subframe & wheels then I can at least roll up and down my driveway making grey motor noises :thumbsup:

Slowly making progress on the ute.
Don't think I will be ready for Wangaratta though, maybe next year

If any one is looking for a rotisserie mine is now up for sale

It's funny, my wife said the same thing when I told her I was selling the rotisserie. I'll have to demolise the house and build a bigger shed if I go again. I already have a registered EH parked at my mother inlaws and a couple of bikes in the shed on my to do list. But where there's a will there's a way.

I am painting it a spearmint green colour same as the engine bay. Nice and low with whitewalls and full moon discs are the plan at the moment.

Hey kel. If your running out of room in ya shed you can leave the eh over here and the bikes can go next door.. We will look after them for ya :thumbsup: . Ute is looking good mate. Hats off to ya.
