AIR BAG SUSPENSION

Post by body »

hey there guys

im currently in the process of installing air bags in my ute

i was wondering if anyone had photos of the bag work it self (whether it be ek or from 67 and earlier) of the front end, 4 link and such.

ive got about 3 ideas running around in my head on how to do it but i wouldnt mind seeing what else is out their for a better idea or what not to do .

any of the photos ive looked up on the internet the closest ive found is the purple ek but it only shows what hes cut out , not what hes installed.

cheers in advance

Sorry Body, I would have suggested to have a look at the purple sedan but you already did that,
Don't forget to take lots of photos of yours to share with others that want the same  .

Mate I would get in contact Glenn Rulach from Air Ride on 03 9729 5556 he is pretty clued up on bagging old school rides, he would probably be able to give you some advice.

Thanks guys , yer the real problem is not how to do it it's which way .

Just talked to the engineer and it looks like the lowering laws are back in action (vsi50) so in the month he told me to wait I'm designing a bolt in kit in my spare time , it won't make the car lay on the ground but will give it variable ride height and lowered stance that you won't get with chopped springs lol

( it will be on a hr front end btw)

I'll make sure to take millions of photos so everyone can have a fair idea of doing it .
