HQ stubs

Post by wolf3881 »

Hi every one
I am looking at using lowered springs with HQ stubs.

Can I still use HR disks or do I have to go HQ?

Thanks

the whole idea of using hq stub axles is so you can use Hq ventilated disks.
As I'm retaining the original steering box I wasn't able to rear mount the calipers so I got some stubs from crs, if your going for a front mounted racknpinion you may be right .
Rear mount the calipers use Hz alloy calipers , the hq girlock calipers wont fit. (too bulky hit member at full lock)
I'm using the original steering box with crs stubs hk steering arms hz alloy caliper the original ek drag link. Hoping that the ginger-beer doesn't make me go a collapsible column so it may change down the track. I intend on running hq wheels with 60 series tyers on them ,(you need at least 14 inch wheels for the caliper to clear).
