Looks like it will be a bit of fun when its finished ! Nice looking bodyshell there too by the look of it . Who did your steering column ?
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Blacky,
The steering column is from a HT holden. With the mods that im doing it has to be collapsable. I just cut the end off machined it to suit the torana universal and put in a bronze bush. Heres some more photos.

Still need a bracket made to hold the bottom in place

Still needs a small circlip to stop the shaft from pulling upwards.

I will get some more pics as these are early ones.

Sorry guys I know this is not a EK but im just learning how to post photos.

Any way this is how I relieve stress when Im not working on my EK!

Its a 1965 Studebaker Cruiser appendix J racecar. It has a 300 rwhp 283 small block chev and yes it is standard for this model car cause Studebaker ran out of engines when they closed down.Took 2 years to build but well worth the effort. Its the best fun you can have whilst sitting down.
Im actually resting it as I build the EK, cant have everything damn it!

Hi there fellow fans,
Easter was a good time to get some work done on the EK. I have been busy building the engine for the car out of bits ive had for years. I put a 307 crank into a new 350 block and ended up with 327 cubic inch. Thats the good part about these engines you can interchange a lot to get the desired size. Any way after 4 days I reappeared out of my cave with another hurdle done.Enjoy
