  The way your car went and sounded ( and looked ) you don't need a gearbox,it only needs a clutch.

i'm sorry malcom, just my opinion, but if you want a 57 chev soo bad why don't you just get one? again i'm sorry but i just love the look of ek's as ek's. and yes this is just my opinion. i must admit the mods you have done are very well done, i just like a car being what it is. by the way i love the colour 8) 8) 8)

Yeh Brown Bear, you would have counted right, it does get all four gears but its only when its on the highway cruising at over 80k's it drops back into 3rd, unless you keep it on the gas :?:

lukeandkim,
I didn't want a 57 chev so bad at all, I just liked the concept of the lights and bonnet thing. No offence taken. Imagine how boring it would be if every body liked the same thing

Well, I like the '57 lights. It gives that look as if it could have been a styling concept that Holden may have looked at in the late fifties when the FB models were in the design stage.

Even though all those cars at the Nats left the showrooms all looking the same when they were new, not one of them were identical at the show.Thats variety and that makes it all interesting. It'd be a dull world if everything was the same.
