GMH Colour Identification Samples 1960 to 1962
keeo going
Don't stop Stewart,
"general" is the operative word.
I'm sure anyone considering a colour for their vehicle would want to make a more specific inspection prior to deciding.
great work, I can now relate to an approximate colour to go with the names and numbers we have on record.
It would be excellent if you manage to get the entire set for both models.
Hope you get a lot of help with this.
frats,

Hi people,
can we get some more pix of vehicles to solve more of this riddle?
Stewart is doing a great job, but needs to fill in more gaps.

thanks Rosco. Yes we still have a few gaps to fill so by all means email me some pics if you have them. If you get no response from me its because I wont have access to a PC for the next few weeks or so.

The flash on your car anotherfbnewbie looks the exact opposite to the car I bought for my mrs (ex Gazrats "pink" FB sedan ) which is Desert Glow body ( "pink" ) and Sandstone Beige flash.
Pics of Gazrats "pink" FB ( now my mrs car ) are on this forum "somewhere"
Terry.

I can't think what to write here so this will do.

thats great! yes there are a heaps of variables to this...thats another one.
I'd be more than happy to receive scans of the chips from you. Maybe do it at a good high resolution and email them to me.
Will be off the Forum for a few days - Nats. So will speak again when we get back. Many thanks again.

Stewart

G'Day fellas, great idea with the colour chart. My EK's (ute and sedan) are both '62's and a fairly pale bluey grey colour. Does anyone have an idea of the name of this colour? Looks a lot like Rosco's avatar (on my computer).
