Spanner Day May 5

Post by Blacky »

Reminder for both of you WA members that are on here - Spanner day THIS Sunday May 5 , plus we are making trophies for the nats so even if you don't have car stuff to do , come and try your hand at being a wood butcher .........

OK, we managed to have a fairly successful day today, after an absolute nightmare of a day yesterday ImageImageImage

First job of the day was a big one, change out the speedo cable in Shane’s FB , also noticed the driver side door trim was hanging off so Drew the trimmer sorted that out as well
Image
Then we removed the regulator and tidied up the wiring on Micks rocket - forgot to get an after pic, just a during one ….

Simon rocked up and joined the club after threatening to since we first bumped into him at a show around new year just gone

Sorted out a couple of things on Drew’s freshly painted van - with the boss keeping a careful eye on us -

Gave Des’ van a quick going over

Then burnt some more stuff with a bourbon to wash the dust down

Your absence was noted - you will need to bring an explanatory note to the next event
