Post by D-MAN »

Picked up a twin SU Thomas manifold that I decided to get refurbished locally in Sydney at midel out in Lakemba

Here are the before pictures

When I got it one of the carbs was seized and and once they started working on them they discovered the fuel bowls were not correct for the carb and these needed replacing along with about everything else!!!
I must say though the guys did a great job and it only took them 3 weeks, pretty impressed

Hi Dman,

They look great. I'd be interested to know what needles they fitted. What's the plans with the motor they will be fitted to.
I'm running twin 1 3/4 HIF's. Getting the needles right has been a chore but we're getting there.
Cheers

Hi Craig the plans are for a mild grey motor - maybe extractors and cam, the manifold is running twin 1 1/2's and from memory they were going to set them up with a 6 needle and 0.90 jet.
