Pedal box removal

Post by simmo65 »

Hi everyone,

My clutch and brake stop bracket on the pedal box snapped off its spot welds xmas eve resulting in the clutch pedal now touching the dash board and a ride home on a tilt tray.

I've never removed a pedal box before and would like some advice as to the best way to remove it so I can weld the bracket back on. It seems too dangerous to try and weld the bracket back on with the box in situ.

Cheers
Wayne

Pretty sure it's just 2 screws under the dash and 4 from inside the engine bay.
The speedo cable may be running through the middle also.
