After an big EK weekend i got the rear end in, chassis bolted back on, HR front end in and engine & gearbox installed
now the problem is the rear of the gearbox (tailshaft housing) is pressed up against the body, if i lift the front of the engine about an inch the gearbox clearance looks about right
the HR front end was prevously installed before the rebuild with no clearance problems, i tried adjusting the rear mounts by no enough movement to make any difference, checked the rear mounts are installed correctly against another FB and all looks correct.
Open to suggestions on how to rectify this ?
