Fitting buckets in EK

Post by wickedq400 »

Hi .Finally got my seats reupholstered and wanting to know the best way of mounting them. The commodore seats were on alloy spacers but these HR ones are totally different.Am going to try and use at least one pair of the original mount holes but will need spacers and spreader plates.Any one got any advice?
Thanks Mick

Hi Mick, I had some HR seats in my sedan and had to make mounts for the inside runners to go over the floor hump.
I got a set of plates made to go under the floor to bolt into also.
Sorry no pic.

Could you make and weld brackets to the floor pans and bolt the seats to the brackets?
Before laying carpet of course.
