Includes shock absorbers, springs and steering linkages.

You should post some photos of the set up Steve, I would be pretty interested in how they did it back then. The only other power steer system I have seen pre 60 was where a fella modified a Compact Fairlane pillar ram setup. Worked well for low speed but no good at road speeds.

I'm very much looking forward to seeing this EK Proto Prem, I always thought that when Holden had the first auto in the EK, why not make a 8) smansy prem to go with it.
There's nothing as Sweet as a EK V8

With a bit of mucking about; instead of modifying a rack, you can modify the front end to suit the rack.

g,day i dont understand :? why not just mount the rack in the right position then you will only have approx 10 mm bump steer overall (which is about 1/2 of original

Second pic shows lining up rack ends with bottom pivot point.
I couldn't see how you can do this just by positioning the rack alone?
Then you mount the rack at the right height and you end up with about 1mm in bump.

g,dayset my rack up with wishbones level ,gave it to the engineer without springs and shocks ,2" of travel up an down have 2. 5 mm of bump steer
