Huge thumbs up mate!!!! Well earned I say.
Re: 22inch Ek
Superb work mate.
I must say I am glad that I'm not the one who has to grind down all the existing/future welds

Re: Pa's Ute
Cheers Greg!!! Happy to see some progress on your wonderful project too!! Little bit more done over Easter - plate welded over the shockies. Will obviously use a hole saw to provide access to them: http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/h353/OldMansLacky/RustPanels01Apr13_1.jpg http://i1105.photobucket...

Thanks Trev and Andy.
Think I might try it on some of the leftover bits before tackling the ute.
Cheers Blacky, will have to make a trip to the newsagent - it must be sign as the guy who did the interior for the white Camaro did my seats, door cards and visors

Lead Wiping/Loading Advice
Anybody done this in their restoration? I have quite a few pin holes around the fuel tank (not the tank itself). A suggestion was that we could lead wipe? What are some of the things we would need to be aware of? Have googled lead wiping and this looks to be easy enough: http://www.youtube.com/watch...

Saving these for grand-children.

Re: Pa's Ute
Have had to wait for a while until Mario, the welder, was available again. Anyway he put in a few hours today and welded in the panel (thanks to Greg and his donor vehicle) just before the suspension on the driver's side. Very happy with his efforts. Half way there now. Re: Bonnie
Sorry mate. Got ahead of myself. Welder came and worked on the panel further back instead. He's hoping to get to the other bit in the next couple of weeks.
Re: Bonnie
I agree mate.
Coincidentally we are tackling the same issue today. Hopefully we'll have some success. Will post pics as soon as I can.
Cheers.
