Hello Chaps
I do the design for our local car club once a month. Soon after Dad died one of the guys suggested that I put all the Holdens on the cover as a tribute to my 'old man'. I was only to happy to take the opertunity. I also did a bit of a story for the back cover. As you can read in that, the Holden's are part of the family, and it will stay that way. Some have been in the family since before I was born. There is a picture of me in nappiues under the one HR with Dad.
They are at Mom's house (2km away) with the other cars, but I want to build a row of garages at my home soon.
The red FB looks good in the photo but is in fact stripped down at the moment, undergoing body restoration. Mechanically she is nice. I have posted a few pages related to the restoration last year.

Forgot to mention that the later model HR has a factory fitted Chevy 194 cid Chevrolet 6 cyl motor. It was a local content issue that reduced tax for the factory. It is the Canadian motor, but the block was cast here in Port Elizabeth RSA where the assembly plant was. Things of interest are that because it is a slightly longer motor, the fire wall is recessed from the factory. Engine mounts differ to the 186 cross member too. It had a cross flow radiator with a header tank mounted on top of the thermostat housing. They were known to crack cause of vibrations. We have moved ours to the side of the inner fender and fabricated a standard type thermostat housing. That solved a lot of issues.
We also have fitted a 5 steed Toyota Cressida gearbox and that makes it really nice on the open road.
