engine breather pipe

oil coming out of breather pipe goes down to a hot places on underside burns off n smells
i ve changed oil 60 grade cleaned underneath to still goes on i know this happens in these older enginges was wondering what can be to catch or stop the oil before it does this ?

How much oil are we talking about??
Couple of drops here and there or is it a lot more than that??

well id say a little more than a few drops here and there but not excesive drops out after parking in garage to, but this smell happens when getting out on open road and when giving it a bootful up hills so i am thinking that a bit more is gettin pushed out when under higher revs
its doesnt seem as obvious in built up area speeds i am talking about round lake macquarie morriset bonnells bay area then head to newcastle from dora creek and get 80 n 90 k areas it starts
i was using anglomol 60 fisrt time then got shell helix 60 the next anglomol seemed to how do i put it hold together better not get as thin? at higher pressure i have a feeling the angolmol 60 holds tegether better at these speeds
its an auto if thats means anything

Sounds like if it's not too excessive then it's typical of a well used grey motor??
Maybe it's coming from places other than just the breather pipe??

the car has been checked over the and it not blow back or out breather pipe the oil comes from the sump plug drips oil a few drops n goes onto the muffler then burns off
so now its a different story
is there a way that this can fixed i know about helicoils is there short term solution id like to the ek to the elvis fest at parkes this weekend oh well see what happens
or we will go in the ej

Yep, fibre washer or copper washer should do the trick unless some idiot in the cars past has hung off the spanner when doing the plug up and stripped the thread.
In the past you could buy oversize sump plugs and rethread with a oversize tap but not sure whether anyone does it anymore.that would be the solution if the thread was stripped.
