Hi i'm new here but i've had heaps of EK FB holdens, what i'm hoping someone here can help me with is i need to know the weight of a stock EK manual sedan as printed on the rego papers thanks
some cars i've built you may have seen are an orange ek convertable built from a wagon, a pink sedan with a roof chop and two door pillarless conversion, a blue ek wagon converted to a van (sides filled and rear doors welded shut), a lilac ute fitted with a 308 V8, and quite a few sedans and wagons fitted with red motors

G`day Ratbox , welcome to the forum mate , I think I may have seen your pink coupe at the drags at Eastern creek years ago-do you have any photos of your old toys or any new projects ?
There was talk on the site in the last few weeks about the weight of various models , if you either do a search or just surf the site I am sure you will find it.

Hi Ratbox,
Registered weight in NSW and on the RTA list is 1120kgs.
If you want to put in V8 its maximum cubic capacity is 327. It must not measure any more. So a overbored 327 chev is not allowed.
This is a real pain so most people opt for the mighty 307 or 308.
Regards Greg

Hi Ratbox
Was your ute registered BAD 61X? If so I bought it from you in 2001. Check out the pics of it now on this site.
Will be at Albury Nats.
Regards Mark
