I'll be there to pay my respects to one of our long standing customers.
George was a strange fellow at times,
But his heart was always in the right place.
RIP George
Cheers Theo Z...........

Sad to hear

His car should go to the National Motor Museum,
along with his story.

No offence taken Tim.
I was just expressing the importance of keeping his FJ how it is.
I hope efforts are put in place of some kind.

My dad went through the police depot in the 60's and told me this regarding George,

"When we went through the "Depot" at Petrie Terrace during the 1960s, some instructors would tell us about Rock & Roll George.

The word was "hands-off". We were told by them not to hassel George for he was an O.K. type of bloke. He was friendly with most of the coppers in those
days. If he saw any of you in trouble, he would not get involved, BUT would quickly get assistance for you."

Vale George
