Same here got back late this arvo, hot hot hot.. Had car troubles with one of the cars in our group. Was a big one this year I saw a couple of forum members drive past but that was it! Barely managed to catch up with anyone. Police presence was much more prevalent than previous years, but the go to whoa was pretty damn good. Pics tomorrow night if I get a chance.

Only in the last couple of years. Seems its attracting aa massive crowd. 10 years ago you'd be lucky to see a cop, Saturday night they had 38. Pays to talk to the locals

Sure were. We saw some one gettitng a fair going over, but he'd been playing up a bit too much. Was very well handled.

My feet were killing me Saturday night by the time I got home, but seeing as I was carless I walked waaaaay more than my lazy ass is used too...

yep, was there. no pics this time, which is unusual for me...

cops did seem to let a lot slide which was good - was a blue ek ute with a canary which didn't seem to make sense... 'til i saw the shiny 4-inch blocks sticking out. a roadster was done on the main road for revving it's engine a bit...

they'd blocked off the roundabouts on the main street to try to curb the cruising - which meant that everyone was doing dodgy u-turns just to get around. it did put a stop to alot of the laps - most cars were parked along the street and didn't really move all day. shame, the best bit about bright is sitting in the middle of the road, watching the parade go by.

was too hot yesterday to wander around the oval, so we sat on the hill in the shade and took in the view from afar.

i think my idle/mixture vibrated to new settings on the trip - was running pretty rough in town and even worse when we got back. it's okay on the road, just doesn't idle and floods when not running. :(

time for a tune-up.

Did you guys see the Black EH drag car that was doing laps on Saturday Night? He do a U turn pretty much in front of 4 cops and they hardly batted an eyebrow. That thing was a beast.

You would have to do something pretty bad i would say to get the cops on your case. That was pretty impressive.

Cheers Paul

They had two go's at getting it started. Think they had it too long to start with. We didn't stay out there too long, sounds like it got worse? saw about a dozen or so runs. Will be interesting once they get the oval finished running it there.
