I thought with all the posts here there and everywhere, I would compile or the scatted posts and start a POSITIVE thread for the "Famous Cropper Creek Ute"
Or to some the "Famous $31,000 Cropper Creek Ute"
The late Jessie Holder & Family
The Holder family moved to Weemelah in 1907 where they operated a General Store and a transport business in conjunction with the rail siding, later on moving to the properties “Westholme” and “Prospect”.
It appears nothing has been traded, sold or tossed out. Its all for sale in its original and various stages of condition.
The money from the auction went to three charities.
The ute was sold new on the day the EJ was released
The dust was incredible out there at Cropper Creek.
