Hi, as i said in the Got Something To Say thread,
i had some pics of my Dad's FB.
Well here they are.
They year was 1969. Dad recalls paying $600 and he was only earning
$28 a week.
His first mod was chucking a few sandbags in the boot to lower the rear.
It also had spats which were the same color as the roof.
If anyone can give me the name of the Color's i would
really appreciate it.
These pics were taken down St Leonards and Barwon Heads.
This was a nasty moment in Geelong City when a car reversed out
of a park and hit the FB when Mum was driving.
Cheers, Adam.

I have always thought the same thing MattO.
I really want to replicate Dad's car.
That is my ambition in life.
(i need 2 FB's as i want to do a full Kustom too).
Adam.

No worries THOMMO,
I'm so glad i was able to convert the pics to jpeg format so
that i could share them with you all.
Thank you Trev for your comment and ratbox,
the paint scheme was original. Dad informs me that it
had not been re-sprayed when he bought it.
A bit of a unique one hey.
Can anyone help please with the color names ?
Cheers, Adam.

Ok, i have spoken to Dad and he gave me this info:
The FB was wearing it's original hue when he bought it.
But, she had a 149 under the hood.
Was originally 3 on the tree but floor shift when he bought it.
He fitted lowering block's at the rear but wasn't happy
so sandbag's were also installed in the boot.
And he fondly remembers many FB's cruising
Mc Cann St in Geelong painted white (flash included)
with Red roof's.
Many memory's of taillight alley but i
don't think i can post them here
Cheers, Adam.
