What other rear springs fit EK's?

After a trip down to repco, i've found that they can only get rear leaf springs back to EH (according to the young guy that served me). I haven't looked too hard yet, but does anyone know of rear leaf springs from any other model that will fit an EK sedan?
I'd prefer to get lowered ones, though I don't really have $400 to spend. Anyone know of any places in Sydney that would have the right springs for less $$$?
Also is there a thread on here re the standard ride height for EK special sedans?

Thanks guys, Jimmy

Whats wrong with your old springs ? A rebuild on a pair of springs shouldn't cost you much more than $150.

rebuild old springs? what do you mean?
the ends of the leafs have been rubbing and sort of eating into each other if you get what i mean, so i think they'd be unsafe to repair or re-shape?

Get the yellow pages out and find a springmaker nearby - they can take a look and advise you of the best way to repair it - if the springs need a new leaf they can just replace the damaged one , and reset them if you want to lower your vehicle as well.

mmm very good point, i'd rather at least have a go at finding someone to repair them rather than pay through the nose for a new set. I'll have a hunt, cheers blacky

EKjimmy, Up here in Brisvegas, I just take my car down to Mayne Spring Works and get them to make another set from what they have on thier spec books or take the ones off the car and copy those! costs about $180 fitted. Easy!
