Anyone got diff 4 sale?

Hi all,
chasin a coarse spline banjo centre, from the HR era -
prefer sedan.
Havent bought one in about 15 yrs but i assume theyre still available from wreckers?!?
If anyones looking to offload one i be happy to buy it. Doesnt need to be fantastic nic, i have a hr in storage with a blown centre, just wanna get it rollin.

Yep, it's really only the specialist wreckers nowdays that would have them in stock now.The earliest Holden my local wreckers stock now is WB.
They do turn up at swap meets and on evilbay but transport is a problem as a complete centre weighs 21 KG alone and Australia Post maximum parcel weight is 20 KG, although I do know a few blokes who have managed to convince Australia post to bend their rules and accept for postage

Forget larger couriers as they don't want to know you ( eg TNT etc ), or will charge riduculous costs for transport.
Just thought I'd mention this as I've missed out on buying a few diff centres and similar size/weight parts from distant sellers due to transport problems.

You could try this mob for transport,haven't used them but they seem pretty reasonable with transport costs compare to the greedy large transport companies.

i had the same thing. tnt and other freight wouldn't touch me but pack and send use all those companies. didnt want my money first hand... weird. any way... have you tried osborne park wreckers??

Thanks for the tips guys, i had a funny feelin it would be a different story to the ol dayz...
I used to pick up a pair of axles and a diff centre for 100 bucks or somethin im sure.. hehe
sounds cheap now but was probably alot to me back then.
Handy advice on the weight btw.. i never considered that.

Used to get a whole car for a lot less than that !
I bought a centre from a bloke on Epay a couple of months back and he posted it - musta known the bloke at the post office
