Dave, I've got an EK auto, original balancer, original radiator with grey motor etc here.I'll measure it for you tomorrow arvo when I get home from work if that helps ya.
I've got a feeling ?? the auto's radiator was a poofteenth of an inch thicker than the manual ones

Manual = 72mm from front of harmonic to rad
Auto = 67mm from front of harmonic to rad.
47mm from timing cover to front of harmonic balancer.

Dave I've just ventured inside from measuring and come up with these figures for the EK Auto I have here with original everything incl the balancer, radiator etc.
Rivets on the centre hub of the harmonic are the closest part to the radiator ( except the fan of course ) and this measurement is 50 mm to the bottom tank-to-core soldered lip joint.
The outer hub is 57 mm from the radiator.

Those dimensions were standard harmonic , measured on a couple of my parts cars. Dont know why its different to Roscos , maybe we need another car measured to see for sure ? I have no idea if all the original bits are fitted to the cars I have here - probably better to use Roscos measurements.

I would have thought the rear engine mounts would dictate where the engine sat
