price all the parts it has separately and then consider how much you are saving by buying them altogether :D

Welcome to the forum fat, if the car is good bodywise and the kit is complete , its a good thing. Make a list of all the V8 related bits and ring CRS for prices , they add up in a big hurry when you buy all the bits at once.

a ek in primer............very minor rust :? :?: :? :?:
Usually the rust is removed before the primer is applied. Be careful of what else is under the primer.
engine not fitted but runs
Does it blow smoke, rattle, been flogged - need a rebuild??

There is a registered - restored V8 FB ute on ebay -

Read the question posed to the buyer.

Be prepared to spend heaps of time and bucket loads of $$$ to get the modified EK on the road. (Including engineers certificate)

But as ipg says it is up to you whether you think what you are buying is worth the dollars.

Good luck and keep us informed

FAT62EK,
BE CAREFUL OF HIDDEN RUST AS THIS WILL KILL YOUR ENTHUSIASM REAL QUICK. $2500.00 IS A GOOD PRICE TO START WITH BUT YOU WILL BE STARING A $10000-$15000 PRICE TAG AT THE END AND AN ABSOLUTE MIND BOGGLING AMOUNT OF HOURS DOING IT. I AM ABOUT 1/2 WAY THROUGH SUCH A BUILD AND THE PAINT AND PREPARATION ALONE HAS COST $7000.00. A MOTOR/GEARBOX FRESHEN UP $3000.00,GET THE PICTURE? I WILL TRY AND POST SOME PICTURES OVER THE WEEK END THIS MAY ENTICE OR SCARE YOU!
REGARDS GREG.
