Gidday Hemi,
The mats are removable-couldn't use pre formed carpet because tunnel has been replaced to fit trimatic and I don't think auto carpet would fit

Could you post some pics of the tarp
I've just finished a ute and have been trying to make a hard cover (not going to well)
From what I can see your tarp looks very neat and could be the answer to my problem.
Any information pics would be a great help

Nick , there is a mob who make hard covers for utes , try a search on the FE/FC website , someone on there had one made out of fibreglass.

very schmick looking ute! i am particularly interested in the fuel filler cap you have used, i have been looking at one from Earl's which has an outside diameter of 95mm (areo 300) is this what you used ? as it looks like it fits perfectly into the hole which is what i was hoping it would do.
they also come with the unleaded restrictor, locking cap and don't leak like all other ek caps i've had in the past
any info you can provide would be appreciated.

Gidday Sammy,
The cap is one of Earls can't remember which model- verrry expensive but a great product.
Had to cut internal lip from body and widen hole slightly then flatten mounting surface.
Try a motorcycle wrecker for similar cap!

thanks for the info, i havew had a rough measure of the earls ones and i thought it would be the go, the price doesn't worry me too much ($300 i think it was) but i need its features, locking, unleaded restrictor, and the hose fitting size .... anyways i wont hi-jack your thread.
