Does anyone who has done their guards, have any advice / ideas / feedback on the best way to do it yourself.

Pics would be great. :D :D

I assume it is a bit harder than doing a jap car, where the metal can almost be bent by hand .

Angle grinder, a bit of trampoline pipe. Have a look on youtube, there is a video there, and it worked for me :)

Found one on a guy doing jap car, but not an old holden.

I just assumed the Holdens would be more difficult due to the size of the metal and the fact that it is stronger.

Is their one on a holden ? :?

Nah Mate,

But it still does work! Just let your tyre down a little, to perhaps 24psi and give it a go.

Requires a bit of practice, but it worked for me.

Jap cars roll themselves as soon as you throw bigger wheels on them

Tried the guard on the car and it doesn't hit. :D

At least not while it's stationary.
If it was bouncing it may be a bit different

I'm not sure even with rolled guards if it would fit.
But then again the current springs don't have a lot of bounce in them.
