My bonnet doesn't fit any Idea's. I think when I had the front frame off I didn't put it back in the same spot even though all the bolts lined up.
Is there any way of checking if it is square. There is no more adjustment left at the hinges

HELP !! BILLY

you might need to make a shim and put it behind the left hand hinge - between the hinge and the firewall.

Loosen the bolts holding the bonnet on, get in the engine bay (if you don't have your engine in there) and close the bonnet and then tighten up the bolts

, I have never done this

.
Or get an EK

If the hammer does not work

and you don't feel like explaining to the kids why you are stuck in the engine bay

maybe lift the bonnet, give the front of the bonnet a yank to the drivers side and adjust the rear to the passenger side

To check square accurately plum down to the floor suspension mounting points front and rear then measure the diagonal distances. Keep in mind they were probably never square from new.

Looking at the pics I'd guess the subframe is a little bent.

Loosen off all the bolts (bonnet and subframe) and try and wiggle it all around till it fits perhaps. Something obviously didn't go back to where it was.
