Hey Everyone,

Here are a few pics of my FB Ute, currently getting a new paint job.
This is what we did over the easter weekend pulled her apart, sanded (by hand i'll add) and put her underwear on (primer)

Plan is to have her painted next weekend in Teal Metallic.

Trying to keep the look original as possible she has a 186 at the moment changing from manual to auto. Upholstery will be done in the coming weeks as she has to be ready by the 9th may.

More pics will be added as time goes on.

My dog Maloo.... she loves cars and loves being in your way when you try and work on them.

yeah well thats only in the carport....

Total in the yard
Datsun 1200 sedan (carport)
Datsun 1200 ute (carport)
Datsun 1000
HQ Sedan
HJ Sedan (gettin painted next)
HQ 1 Tonner
and my FB Ute (carport)
my brand new car lives on the street....

So we are building shed in the next couple of months

Hey Manda, Nice Ute! But I think its an EK not an FB. Keep us posted on the rebirth. 9th of May not too long away I hope the weather will be kind.

I saw that EK Wag, though, I thought the Plenum Chamber Cover is harder to replace and not usually replaced compared to the others.

Its an FB (unless i read the build plate wrong) but all the chrome on the front end is EK

Yeah i know there is only a few little differences....
and of course FB's are better....cos i have one lol

on other news the car is currently gettin spray painted.... it'll be in finished tonight.

But i have been told i'm not allowed to look not even peak until its finished so i am now sitting inside excited and can't wait to see it....

here are the last photo's of her with a second coat of primer and in our make shift spray booth....
