Pics of Perth Nostalgia Drags!

Post by J »

Well heres my story:

Dad and I firstly went to HJ's to get a yummy bacon and egg wrap where we met up with boris and went for a cruise down there.

The EK was packed full of weight, so on the freeway after a high speed corner you could always smell some burning rubber

The line up to get in was huge, im sure someone would have over heated - the most exciting part was when I saw fill in the Ambo drive up the wrong side of the road to get in...

Line up for scrutineering

J, Rhodes rear wheel arch is actually a front guard/wheel arch cut out and made to suit the rear. Had me buggered the first time i looked at it

By the way, i got a kick out of your 10 second handicaps !!!
I would rather work on a Morris 1100 than use a computer !!!!!!

J is this the same car that has a grey, making strange noises ? :? :?

I was going to ask last time, if it may have possibly been driven a little too enthusiastically. Nah, you wouldn't treat a grey like that ?

21.7 is that good ? was that after they removed the 10 second hanidcap

Tell your mate that there are two Rambler Americans in the local pick a part here at Dapto , Wollongong.
Theres some good panels, good trim ,and good chrome and the cars are also loaded up with parts.

good picks J 21.9 21.7 who cares even if it were 41.9 i bet you had a ball and that's the most important part you were having fun, not just looking at yor car sitting in a shed

Yep, use them and enjoy the lifestyle, otherwise you may as well just look at a picture of them on the wall.
I can't think what to write here so this will do.

Andrew!!!!!!

 ok I entered as the driver, they accepted my application knowing I dont have a civil drivers licence and that I wasnt racing a Junior dragster.

According to ANDRA rules u need to have a civil drivers licence.

my parents were originally going to Sydney on the weekend so a guy who races the junkyard dog altered was going to be racing it, but he quit his job the night before. We were going to fool everyone and he would pretend to be me.

so yeh dad raced
