Can a red 6 fuel pump fit on (and work properly) a grey motor?

If you want to fit it to a FB - you won't get the vacume bit that works when you are using a heap of throttle..
There is a bit under the older pumps which keeps the wipers working when this happens.
Its ok for EK or anyone who has fitted a electric wiper..

I've got an LC Torana XU1 fuel pump on one of my grey motors that a mate gave me off his XU1 ........... but it didn't make the grey go any quicker!!
