I bought some billet dash knobs. How do you remove the factory ones? Anyone looking for a good set?

gday mate, for some reason theyre all different. window wipers have a grub screw on the knob so if you take that off then you can take of the silver plate at the front which just unscrews. For the choke just remove the actual choke cable from your carbie then unscrew, light switch if you pull it out so the lights would be on, then reach behind on to the part where the wires connect (probably best to undo the battery first) there is a liitle button on the top, hold it down then pull the knob and out it comes, then again unscrew silver plate, and im still working on my ignition switch but there is a post in electrical i think. This would be a lot easier if they were all the bloody same

What Rudigar said. For the ignition switch try a set of c clip pliers or carefully and patiently tap around with a screw driver.

Oh I mean just the plastic sections. I have unscrewed the wiper knob and put on my new aluminium knob, but how do I get the others off? Pull them?

Testing my memory but I tink you're right. I don't think they were really usable once I got them off. But they should pull off.
